St. Matthew

1- But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.

2- Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

10- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

11- Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12- Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

13- Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

14- Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

15- Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: but I say unto you, that ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

16- Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

17- It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

21- Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal; But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22- Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

22- Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

23- But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

24- Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.

31- Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
